Marketing Advisor
Job Description
Vortex Strategy & Recruitment is actively seeking a Marketing Advisor for its client, a company located in the Greater Montreal area.
Reporting to the Marketing Department, you will be responsible for establishing the company’s market positioning, narrative identity, and differentiated value proposition.
Your Role and Responsibilities
• Support, develop, and draft the annual strategic marketing plan.
• Directly manage the implementation of the plan and related campaigns and programs.
• Lead and design creative marketing campaigns and programs to increase our market presence and brand visibility at the regional level.
• Maintain an updated list of key regional clients;
• Understand and analyze the competitive landscape to ensure our offering remains competitive in local markets.
• Act as the primary marketing contact within your office and collaborate with other team members to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Work closely with the Practice Marketing team to deploy major campaigns in your region.
• Oversee the allocation and optimization of the office marketing budget by monitoring expenses.
• Manage award submissions, sponsorship opportunities, and relevant events.
• Develop and implement a consistent community investment plan aligned with key client relationship objectives and business goals to maximize invested funds.
• Use established campaign development and management tools (i.e., CRM, creative services tools).
• Track, analyze, and report on return on investment (ROI) performance objectives.
Exigences
• Relevant degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, and/or business development
• Bilingualism required (spoken and written French and English);
• Strong organizational skills and excellent prioritization abilities;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through completion while interacting with a wide range of stakeholders
• Collaborative attitude and positive approach, regardless of the task
• Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to practice active listening to identify opportunities and understand challenges
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Outstanding interpersonal and client relationship management skills
