Communications and Public Relations Advisor
Job Description
Vortex Strategy & Recruitment is actively seeking a Communications and Public Relations Advisor for its client, a company located in the Greater Montreal area. The selected candidate must have experience in media relations, media management, and be fully bilingual, both spoken and written.
Reporting to the Communications and Public Relations Department, the Advisor will be responsible for delivering messages through all of the company’s communication channels and providing communications support related to strategic initiatives.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Create impactful content for social media
Monitor social media activities and regularly provide analysis
Oversee daily media monitoring and information distribution
Support media relations strategies and participate in research and development initiatives
Promote awards and recognitions obtained by the firm on internal and external platforms
Support the corporate communications team in the creation, editing, and deployment of ad hoc content
Participate in the coordination and management of requests
Requirements
Experience in communications, journalism, media relations, or marketing; preferably in communications
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the communications field
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Bilingualism required (spoken and written French and English);
Professionalism and experience in a corporate environment
Knowledge of major social media platforms and current trends
